This is one of our Go-To patterns during a midge hatch as the trailing fly on a two fly nymph rig. When you see fish rolling on the surface they are grabbing midge pupa as they ascend and the pupa are easy pickings for the trout. You will often get takes as you lift for the next cast at the end of a drift.
