The Griffith Gnat is a tried and true midge pattern that represents a cluster of midges or mating midges depending on the size. We tie our Gnat by spinning the herl and hackle together before wrapping on the hook as opposed to palmering the hackle over the herl, thereby giving it more durability. Available in traditional grizzly and black.
