Charlie Boy Hopper
Another great pattern from fly tying guru Charlie Craven that;s been around for 25 years, and he says it is still his favorite hopper to fish. Tied in size 10 with a deer hair wing and a super sharp wide gap hook for better hookups.
Note: this pattern is designed to ride low on the surface like a natural, so it is recommended NOT to put floatant on the foam, only on the deer hair wing.
