It's hard to find a more versatile baetis pattern than the classic Barr's emerger. Our version utilizes a thread body in place of dubbing so that we could add a subtle ribbing. Equally effective fished sub-surface with a weighted nymph rig or just below the surface, this has become one of our favorite baetis nymph patterns.
