Micro Midge Larva
Tied on a Gamakatsu barbless midge hook. Make these part of your micro pattern collection. An important staple year round in a trout’s diet. Fish with light fluorocarbon tippet and set the hook gently. The trout’s resistance will strengthen the hookset.
Guide hints:
Use your forceps (clamps) on the hook bend for easy handling while tying the Micro patterns to your tippet. We highly recommend using the Davy Knot on the Micro patterns for a small profile. (See our video)
