The Desert Storm midge is a well known  winter pattern on the San Juan and other Western tailwaters. Highly visible in off color conditions, this imitation of a blood midge is a consistent producer. My Desert Storm can be used as an attractor in the larger sizes or as a point fly in the smaller sizes.
